Libertarians, by definition. "Libertarianism usually refers to a political philosophy maintaining that all persons are the absolute owners of their own lives, and should be free to do whatever they wish with their persons or property, as long as they allow others the same liberty." -Wikipedia

that is an impossible question. if you say dems then you have the issue of political correctness and making everyone feel like they are special. this of course means that you have to take the rights of some people away to keep this up. like freedom of speach if it is offensive to someone. how about freedom of expression. like haveing the ten commandments in a courthouse or allowing religous observances in public schools. you would have to take those rights away from people who want them.
if you say republicans are the way to go then yes you would have to deal with some loss of privacy in exchange for increased security, but you wouldn't have to worry about that if you where a law abiding citizen since you would have nothing to hide and even if questioned you would be able to stand up to the scrutiny.
guess you would have to ask what benefits YOU would get from it to answer this question.

At one time it was the one that pushed for smaller government. Now they both want larger government. Remember the government, & utilities employees are the only 2 groups that have the old type pension plans. The rest of us at best have 401K's. How big of a government do you wish to pay the retirement bill for?

Libertarians. Hands down, no question.
Every other political party has some other agenda, which requires some limitations to be placed on personal liberties.
The Libertarians have personal liberty as its primary agenda.

Definitely not Democrats and Republicans. They are so huge and broad that they represent people of all views. Democrats have a greater tendency to take away peoples' liberties in areas like gun control and economic liberty such as increasing taxes on corporations. Republicans are more likely to take away liberties on controversial moral issues like abortion and gay marriage.
If I had to chose one, I would say the Libertarian party. There's not very many of them, and the one thing they all have is wanting as few government rules as possible. Economic, social, all kinds.

A republican party ran by true conservatives..Not neo cons like we have now.
Everything the democratic party of today stands for is enslaving the people to the government .
