Having to pay bills IS by far the worst thing about being an adult - - - sucks majorly.
Spending most of your time working and not having enough time to do what you want to do - sucks.
Having teenyboppers who are still young and naive make silly comments about us older folks complaining when it won't be long until they are in our position - - - sucks.
Knowing that said 16 year old is soon going to have the biggest bill of his or her life when they decide to go to college- - - is priceless!

Well, you can certainly pretend your shopping cart is a race car or space shuttle just to spice up an otherwise mundane chore, but then people begin to treat you like you're mildly retarded. Not that I mind, because then I can get away any number of social faux pas (singing at the top of my lungs for no good reason, laughing out loud at jokes I heard 12 years ago, re-enacting my favourite movie scenes in the produce section) but it's just sad that most grown ups have forgotten what it's like to just have fun and not always worry what someone else might think of you behave just a little bit differently.

People looking at you like your crazy when you do or say something silly or what they consider to be childish. It's like once you reach a certain age your not supposed to have a sense of humor or think young.

Being aware of suffering, and hate. As a kid, I didn't know about murder, abuse, addictions, disease, etc. Now I am reminded of it everytime I get online or watch TV. It really does suck.
