I don't think that I have ever bought ice cream from an ice cream truck, and in fact can't really remember ice cream trucks ever being present in my neighbourhood.

I do remember hearing the ding of the knife-sharpener guy's bell (I think he must have lived on my street or something), but sharpening knives wasn't a particularly exciting idea for me.

The ice cream truck had always scared me...it's kinda creepy if you think about it...some guy driving around to sell ice cream to kids... lol Well, maybe not, but it still creeps me out!

It depends on if you mean excited as in I want to rush out and buy some ice cream, or excited as in I want to rush out and lob a molotov cocktail at it (when there's no kids around, of course) There's one that goes through our neighborhood and the song they play is very very very annoying.

particular, i make the main of my daughter as an excuse like "Come on toddler the ice cream truck is powerful right here" yet what i particularly recommend is "i could like a reason to run exterior and bounce up and down for ice cream!!!"

Actually, I heard one just this afternoon, but I didn't get excited at all. I used to run outside and get something like a popsicle shaped like Tweety bird. It's been years. That's sorta sad.
