Is the Doctor of Pharmacy program based more on Microbiology or Organic Chemistry? Or something else? Im getting mixed answers from people and I'm trying to decide if it's right for me...

More on organic chemistry. MIcrobiology only comes out when discussing infectious diseases.

Just as a layperson, I would think that it would be based more on organic chemistry or at least some type of chem including biochem, for example. To know of which prequisites you need for a certain pharmacy program, it's best to check with the specific pharmacy program itself as to the pre-courses as well as the core courses that one will be required to take during the program.
