For the local weather map:
Go to http://www.weather.com/ and type "Chicago, IL" in the "Enter Zip or US/Intl City" box near the top. Then click on the NEW Radar Map tab. You will see a radar map, a satellite map, a temperature map, and a general weather map. Neat-o.

For the national weather map:
Go to http://www.weather.com/ and click on the "Select a Map" arrow to get a scroll-down menu. This is in the middle of the page. There are all kinds, and these are all maps showing the entire country! Neat-o again times two. Woo woo.

You're welcome. : )

P.S. That's really cool that you're the school meteorologist.
