Just got a new computer with Vista Premium. I like to have shortcuts to my fave websites on the desktop. For example, I sent a shortcut to Yahoo to the desk top but when I go to click it I get this message: http://www.yahoo.com- application not found."
This happens with any page I try to make a shortcut with. Any fixes for this? Oh yeah, it's with IE&. Not sure if Firefox is Vista-friendly yet.

use the restore button (between close and minimize) in the internet explorer and make sure you can see your desktop in the back ground. Drag the icon right before the address in the address line out to your desktop and let go... this will create the shortcut
