President Bush?

And why does the liberal media not report this???????

One would think the Democrats would get the message that the American people are not happy with what they are doing.

The media, mostly, is liberal, and as such will portray the democratic congress as positively as possible. Personally I think they've spent too much time trying to embarrass the Bush administration and not enough time trying to pass the legislation they promised when they were getting elected.

congress, traditionally, almost always has low numbers... there is often a "honeymoon period"... but it's now clearly over... and of course it goes up here and there, depending on a certain bill...

it's like saying... "why isn't the fact that the sky is blue making the news?"

I remember the press reporting the low Republican congress numbers like once, in a "non-election" period...

presidential opinion ratings are usually more fluid...

and last time I checked, they were basically within the "error or margin" of each other...

Hmm - why don't you report that the con congress had even lower approval ratings? Eh Sparky?

The facts are the cons were run out on a rail over dissatisfaction with corruption and the "presidents" handling of the Iraq debacle.

The Democrats in Congress have raised the Congressional approval rating from the low 20s last fall to the mid-30s now.

And they've been in power for only two months. During which time they have been under constant attack from Bush.

As far as their behavior -- they are behaving like a co-equal branch of government, as opposed to Bush's lapdogs.

So what's your point.

Because YOU aren't happy, doesn't mean the American people are not happy.

Our Congress just went blue, and even then, it's not like Dems have a strangle hold on either the Senate or the House.

Once a Dem is elected President next year, you'll really see things start to change.

Yanno, things like less killing and more educating. Silly s*** like that!
