I am a big OPRAH fan and she has made the comment on both subjects before. She stated that she thinks women married for security and stability. She stated that she already has that. She also believes that marriage will complicate what she has with Stedman. She also made a statement that when she first journey to Africa and saw all the children that need, medical care and educational that she never had any children because God want her to become a mother in a sense to the children in Africa! I don't necessary agree with her reasoning about marriage. I believe that she has evolve as a person since she made her statement on marriage!!

Oprah has too much money to marry any man. You can't completely trust any man's motives with that much money. it is easier to just have him as a boyfriend for a lifetime.
Oprah has too much going on to have any children. She thinks that she has a much bigger or a different purpose in the world. She is mother to us all.

I am definately no expert, and I have wondered this myself. One reason could be that she was molested as a child. Maybe she is reluctant to commit herself. She is older now, and might have a problem doing it the old fashioned way. She seems perfectly content with her life now. She has at least 3 dogs, and I think those are her babies. I feel ike she will get married within the next 5 years to Steadman.

I don't know and honestly don't care but if you had all this money and had a handsome guy as your boyfriend who is so taken to you and is probably afraid to cheat because everyone knows who he is, why would you want to go complicate things by doing such as thing as marrying? as for having children, the horse has already gone through the gate (I think)

She's married to her career. She knows that she would never be able to put the time into a family that it really needs so she rather celebrate the joys through her guest and the people she touches.

Her long time live in boyfriend was never quite ready for marriage. Now, she's too old to start a family. It's too bad. I think she would have been an incredible mother.

a minimum of she had the experience to confess that having toddlers isn't for her. we ought to consistently be asking why some females have youngster after youngster and lose all of them to the equipment for being no longer worth.

I think if you watch her show enough you should know that she had a bad life as a child. She was raped by a relative and the baby ended up dying at delivery. This would do it for me.

actually she is marrying stedman soon....as for children...she probably knows that she is to selfish to have children. some women just know that they should not have children..when i say selfish, what i mean is she has always put her career first and it will always remain that way....
