I just HAD to ask this to see what bands people love, and this is all because I am SOOOO excited for my favorite band, Chevelle's new album, Vena Sera, which will be released on April 3rd!!!!! I'm sooo excited! I think it's the only thing that'll get me through my speech on monday!

I ⥠Action Action...their lyrics are amazing! they are so dark and beautiful. And their songs tell stories, and the sounds are amazing! They describe it as a dark swirl of synth...which it is!! my favorite songs by them are:

Well, my music tastes are a little bit different than most people's here. I like a lot of dance-rock & electro, so that's what most of these are.
-The Rapture (House of Jealous Lovers is one of the greatest tracks ever made)
-LCD Soundsystem (nostalgic dance-punk with a sense of humor)
-Daft Punk, you can't be an electro fan if you dont like these guys.
-Ratatat, best instrumental music ever
...and many others like them.

the french band indochine!!! i just luv them, although unfortunately they`re not very well known here...they started out in the 80`s as a sort of new wave band, but know they`re really more goth...their lyrics just speak to me & the music is amazing...i can`t get enough of them!!!

The Beatles
They wrote, and performed their own music without all the computer auto-tune tricks and their music sounds as fresh today as it did then. They had an identifiable sound.

my favorite band is My Chemical Romance because they are humble, don't let fame get in the way of writing lyrics that are true to them, don't show off, and really honest.
