Theres quite a few bands that I liked when I first heard but it wasn't untill a little later on I was a really big fan off. If it takes me a while it usually means I'm going to really like it.

same here. usually when i like a song right away, it gets boring really fast. if i like a song a little bit, ill end up liking it more the more i listen to it. those are the songs that usually become my favorite.

I agree with you, like listening to a new CD, the more you listen to it the more you like it. So I guess the more you hear from that artist, the more you'll like them. I've also realized a true fan will buy any CD of that artists, even before hearing "how it is" from others. With my all times favorite artisits, I'm out purchasing their stuff the day it comes out.

If I like a song, I like it right away! I usually become a fan if I feel that way about most of their music!

it happened to me with the Chili Peppers, especially with Stadium Arcadium, i only liked a few songs and i later gave it a chance and found out i liked most of them :-)

i think it is the stations and tv bombarding our mind with repetetive rent-a-bands. you will eventually like anything if you hear it enough is my theory

yea, listen to THE BLOOD BROTHERS, it will shread your ears in a catchy, enjoyable way.
I didn't like them at first, but then I became a big fan......yea!
