Assertiveness would be a better word for it. Arrogant implies selfishness and self centeredness. Assertivenss is where you stand up for your rights and assert your own needs.
Practice standing up for yourself in a mitror, saying what you want to say over and over. Then, in a real life situation, you share what you practiced.

Why would you want to?
Be yourself is the only way to be . Humble is an attribute.
If you really want to , just start thinking only of yourself and not of others and see how miserable you will become.

Why be somthing that does not come natural to you? At the end of the day all your really want is respect which can easily be earned through being humble.

believe that everything you say is the right hing or answer and that everyone else is wrong and you will become arrogant in no time. but will you become more likeable?

always be confident and think you are better than everyone else. If you dont have mental power to do that just beat up little kids and pretend they are football players
