Being complacent in the US of A will be our down fall. We've allowed our government to go to people that exploit their own causes for the almighty dollar; people that spend more than they take in.
We are going to war with IRAN soon and Russia, Syria, China, North Korea, and Pakistan will throw in against us.
Some resident muslims will attack us from within.
We will be changed forever if we do not change

I agree, thank God for the democratic congress and checks and balance. I think the evil president can be stopped through legislation. It is the only hope for the world. .

If Iran keeps it up and I have no reason to assume they won't, they will end up getting hit and hit hard. There is something wrong with the people that lead these countries. They never seem to know when to stop.

There will be no World War as a result. There may be one less place for the terrorists to call home. China and Russia are not Muslim countries. They are on the terrorists' agenda, too.

What the heck is wrong with you people? What a bunch of frightened children you are. You cannot allow these tyrants and psycho zealots to push you around. How many times must it happen before you get the message? In their culture, diplomacy is a sign of weakness. They do not respect diplomacy. Begging these type of people to leave you alone is only going to embolden them.

If you really want peace prepare for war. Standing tall and displaying your power is the only way you will get their respect. And without their respect you are in grave danger.

In my opinion Britain blew it. When the Iranians threatened their boats they should have sunk that Iranian ship, immediately. When these people reach their hand into your cookie jar they should pull back a bloody stump.

Britain should give them 48 hours to return those sailors. If they refuse, level one of there naval bases. And I mean flatten the place. If they still refuse take out another military target.

If after repeating this process several times they still don't comply go in and take the sailors back. .

Wow . . . you're all over the map here.

Complacency - I am guessing you are bent that the rest of us aren't activists like you.

Exploitation by the government - I have no idea what you are talking about. I suggest you travel to other countries to get an understanding as to how good you have it.

People that spend more than they take in - People or governments? I'm with ya on fiscal responsibility on the part of the government, but other people finances are none of your business.

War - well, they happen. Had we gone to war with the Nazis before 1942, and been more proactive (like Bush is) far LESS people would have had to die. Many mistakes have been made, but terrorists are the ENEMY, and you fight fight the enemy on their shores while they are weak before they get strong and fight you on yours.

Change - what kind of change are you suggesting? A left-wing government with an appeasement policy? An isolationist policy? (which I can actually realate to)

People are going to burn me because they will think that I'm a nut but, just like Iran, getting into an all out war will be the only thing that saves us. Extreme politics now seem to be the norm. Millions out of work, no health care, 4 million good jobs gone in the last 5 years to overseas nations that wouldn't pee on us if we were on fire with millions more scheduled to go. What jobs are left are being set aside for illegals or folks from India/China that will work for rice cakes. Our Big Business execs are out of control and the nation is tearing itself apart. If you are young you'd better hope for a big war or you'll be economic slaves before 2025. I hope I'm wrong but unless things change, I don't think I am.

I agree that we need to wake up and not be complacent. The rest is sketchy.

I doubt we are trying to go to war with Iran. If so, we have certainly been getting serious provocation for such.

I doubt Russia, Syria, China, NKorea, and Pakistan "will all throw in against us."

And you might mention that we still have a bunch of friends who would "throw in with us."

We are Rome at its peak. Economically successful. But rotting from the core. Our government is so corrupt its causing massive political ramifications that will be felt for 100 years +.

Already we are seeing what interfering with other societies does to us. Operation Ajax = Iranians hate us for life.
Supplying Israel with weapons = All the middle east and Germany hates us for life. These are tragic times that call for drastic measures. All the GOPers out there and the Dems out there should re think why they vote for these two political parties ALL the time. They are what is corrupt in the world. Vote for a different party and we'll see drastic changes.

Thank You
LUCASV .... Libertarian till they go corrupt.

I agree with just about everything you are saying. I'm not sure there is any way to reconcile our political differences with so much hate involved. Complacency is just one of the reasons because it is what enables the ones that are so far to the left to take the stands they take. One of your answers says that all great civilizations reached the peak and started their decline and another nation took over. I think he is right. All I can say is you should make your peace with your God and not lose any sleep on things you can no longer do anything about.

I agree that things are pretty rough and could get rougher.

But, it didn't all start with Bush you know.

If we do go to war with China, they will use multiple warhead targeting data that Clinton made possible for them to acquire.

But I agree, being complacent is a serious issue.

Just whining about abuses of a republican won't get you where you want to be though.

You need to really open your eyes and take a look at both parties. They are both complicit in getting us to this place in our history. BOTH of them and it is CLEAR to see by anyone that isn't looking with blinders on.

Our hope is outside the republican and democrat parties. They are both interested only in their own agendas. They are both dishonest with the American people. They both line their pockets at the expence of American taxpayers.

I am not angry with you. I may not agree with you on everything, but I know that you are not the enemy...both the republican and democrat parties are though.

Americans have it EXACTLY the way they want it in this country otherwise, the would not have elected the Politicians that have caused the things to happen to get them to this point. People whine and cry about high gas prices and the war and illegal immigration yet they elect the same da*& politicians into office year after year that have made the laws OR not enforced the laws to allow things to get to the point they are at. SOOO, i'll say again, americans have it EXACTLY how they want it.

Many people just don't understand that we are in the fight for our very lives and our right to determine our own destiny, and I certainly don't feel any obligation to apologize for putting America first. America most certainly needs to wake up before it's too late. We need to set aside all the things that are dividing us, like labels such as anything with a descriptor followed by a hyphen and American (White, Afro, Christian, Jewish, Cuban, German, etc., etc., etc.), and realize that we are first, last and always AMERICANS, and we walk the Earth like giants. We are the most giving and caring people in the world and no one throughout history has ever done it better.

Thank you for asking.
