The Bard said it best:
"To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep:
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heartache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to,--'t is a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub:
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life;
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office and the spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscover'd country from whose bourn
No traveler returns, puzzles the will
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all;
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pith and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of action."

According to Nietzsche, philosophers tend to mummify their subjects as they deal with questions of "being" rather than questions of "becoming" such as procreation and growth. I like the idea of becoming. Also, according to Nietzsche, Christianity (and other institutions as well, I think) has treated people as if they're in a menagerie. It has made them sick so as to make them well. It reminds me of the tortoise and the hare. The tortoise wins the race.

To not go looking for drama, to enjoy simple things like sitting by a creek fishing, or watching the sunset with the one you love, to stop having so many attachments and desiring so many things,stop thinking about so many things, floating on the water, just let go, let go, let go, and be...

I love your question. To gently remind oneself to 'simply be' simple self...no longer depending on the thoughts that have created the conditioned "Me"...builds a new life, a 'new freedom'...the unnamed that we call THAT, reins.
Thanks!

it doesn't mean anything. no idea of something "simply being" exists in the world. you should put no thought to it. before you could be anything else, you were something being (that which you now are). to refer to you before that moment also makes no sense.
this answer makes no sense.

SIMPLE BE .... there can be many things. It depends on individiual's thinking and mentality and want. For me is the prayer for the universe -
"Om Asato maa sad-gamaya;
tamaso maa jyotir-ga-maya;
mrtyor-maa amrutam gamaya.
Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih."
English meaning -
O Lord Lead me from the unreal to the real.
Lead me from the darkness to light.
Lead me from death to immortality.
May there be peace, peace, and perfect peace. -

You are making it way too complex. Read the first 2 words of your question, and stop. If you don't understand, then read the first 2 words of you question, and stop.
