i am writing the same reply which i sent to TOI "With reference to the editorial in TOI (Team India-World cup loss should lead to introspection) Dated march 28, I completely disagree with your views that some great players of team India lack team spirit because they have been brought up in Indian cities which only represent chaos. Further you compared Indian fans with metro’s uncivilized commuters. Furthermore, you said that Indians desist from investing in sports. All these are not correct in reference to CRICKET in India. This is no introspection. Why are you so frustrated from all citizens of India? Again in the same paper at page 24, Coach Greg Chappell says that he has done the best job he could do. But than he is neither a great bowler nor a good player of high quality spin bowling. In my view, we should ask the following questions ourselves, firstly, do we have a good quality spinner in our team? The answer is “no”. Because Harbhajan Singh is a twelfth player of opposite team who is playing in our team. He generally gives away fifty runs and occasionally takes one wicket after every ten matches. Secondly, do our batsmen played quality spin bowling during last two years? The answer is “no”. Because they played with the teams having mediocre spin attack and Harbhajan Singh can not give them proper practice during the net practice. Also they did not play domestic cricket during last two years due to crammed schedule which could have given them the practice and confidence to play all sorts of quality spin. Moreover, the Sri-Lanka did not bring the Murlidharan to India. You can look at the Sachin to confirm this. Sachin used to play spinners by stepping out and now he plays them by pushing the ball around his legs .Lastly, we picked our team for super-8 only without considering overpowering the quality spin of Bangla-Desh and Sri-Lanka .This was a great tactical and coaching error for which the coach and the captain are more responsible whom you have defended in your editorial."

Since India's batting and bowling failed in the matches against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, I dont think it is true.

the bowling is better than batting.the team lost coz of the batting.but i think the bowlers should be trained a bit more to bat.other country bowlers resue their team in critical situation.but this is not possible for our team
