So yesterday it was my husband's day off of work. He picked up his son from daycare but didn't return home. I later found him at his friend's house about 5 blocks down from our house, so I ask him if we are going out for dinner and he says yes later I am having a few beers with my friends, so I was like fine what ever, he didn't get home til about 12am or so. Anyway when I got home I was going online to pay our cell phone bill when I see her number on there. Looks like they only talked for a minute. Should I confront him about it or wait and see if somthing else happens? We have been married for 3yrs and he is 16yrs older than me. So what do you guys think??

I think you were snooping for the number so you already have a gut feeling that he is stepping out on you or you are insecure because you (in your gut) know the relationship is not right; so I'd leave.......get my own apartment and live my life....without him

That's kind of a wide open question there shorty..
1st of all who's his son 's mama? Did he take the child with him to go drink? and if he didn't get home till after midnight after telling you that the two of you would be going out to dinner, what do YOU think? Why do women put up with men that treat them like they are underclassed, less deserving, less capable or intelligent? I'd have had my foot up his sorry A** so fast it'd make his PHONE RING!!! Don't let him treat you like a da** AFTER THOUGHT!!!

Personally - here is what I would do.
take the cell phone bill - bring it to him, start looking through it and then say , as you point to her number - whos number is this? let him think about it for a bit - if he says he doesn't know - grab the phone and say you'll see who it was.
If he confesses right away it was her - and tells you why- I wouldn't be worried because he was honest. otherwise -- yea, most likely something is going on.

Well since the son does not belong to her you know it is not a call concerning the child. One other answer said what could happen in a minute? Well they could have set up a meeting in a minute couldn't they? Confront him by asking if he knows the number, if he lies bust him with your concerns.

Confront him. If he studders then you know he's cheating. Also call her and act like your your husband's secretary then say like that he loves you and see what her reaction is. If he is 16 years older you could do better if he cheats. You need someone your own age. Just don't be all: Where the Fu** you been??? I saw yo gf's numba on our phone...you got sumtin tu say? Lol I'm sorry if it doesn't work out...But you gotta do this

I am also married to a man who is 16 yrs older than me. And I wouldn't jump to conclusions just right away. But I would confront him about it. You are his wife and if he saw your ex's number, I am positive he would have no problem saying something. I hope it is nothing. Good Luck!

If I were you I would not say anything yet but I would definitely be on guard. You can confront him all you want but he can always lie about it so the best thing to do is not to let him in on it until you have more evidence.

ask yourself ,what kind of damage could he done for a minute ?
and you mention he went to get his son ,so i presume the son is hers and his ?
don't make a big deal ,not enough time ,for anything ,and it sounds like you just being paranoid ,hes older then you ,what do you think?

Can you tell who called who? If he called just mention it. If she did don't worry bout it. Any other calls in the history? Maybe someone told him to call her for some reason and he was seing if it was something important or her just wanting nothing.
