Count me in. That question is posted like 15 times a day. It's a stupid debate because if you laid out the facts to a 6 year old he'd be able to tell you who's the best. In one instance you have a player (Kobe) who hasn't done anything as a leader but score a ton of points, while the other (Jordan) has accomplished almost everything on every level of the sport! If your not a biased pro Kobe idiot and you were too young to have seen Jordan play, go to youtube.com and look up Michael Jordan. A guy on that site named "hoopsencyclopedia" has about 40 full games from Jordan; not just highlight clips to music, but actual game footage. Also if you need stats I recommend basketball-reference.com or databasebasketball.com to compare the stats.

i am! and the funny thing is half the people who post those comparison questions ask them every single day. the other half have no other intelligent questions to ask. most of the kobe vs. mj questions come from kobe haters anyway so i never pay attention to them. i just dont see why there needs to be so many damn questions on the same stupid debate. yahoo answers should delete these repeated questions or at least flag them before they get posted. but until that happens, im just going to continue to ignore it.

Kobe Bryant shouldn't even be mentioned in the same PARAGRAPH as MJ, let alone be compared to him.

Jordan had class, Kobe doesn't. Never did, never will. Kobe Bryant is one of the biggest wastes of skin on the planet.

Kobe was a pretender to the throne...now Lebron James...he has potential................when are these over paid, self indulgent athletes going to learn that once they realize that it's only a game...they will transcend sports and like Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky, etc, make those around them great, elevate the play of their Team or game , do extrordinary things that will inspire............the true measure of greatness

First off!..Kobe's career isn't over yet!...so how can anyone compare!...people are comparing MJ's whole career to Kobe's first half of his career!.....if you compare them at 28yrs old then it has to be Kobe!...he's won more rings!..he's done more period....Phil Jackson said Kobe is a better allaround player then MJ was....he is the greatest NBA coach!....he must know something!
