Don't be fooled by this definition of pro choice that these people are selling. Pro choice is the PC term for pro abortion-plain and simple. They claim that they are pro life but don't want to "impose" there beliefs on others. BULLSH$T. Why then don't they use pro choice to defend a pedophile? Or, granny is a Little slow in the head and a burden on the family so we just want to speed her up on her way to heaven. Or, let teenagers do crack, they'll learn on there own. These values for some reason don't come with a 'choice' there all wrong. So why is abortion a "pro choice". Funny, Scott Peterson killed his unborn son, and got a murder charge for it. Jane Doe rips out her 3rd fetus this year and it's a choice?.

I'm a Democrat and a Catholic at the same time and I'm also pro choice. It is possible because I believe the basic Catechism of the Catholic church but I strayed in the idea of abortion. It doesn't make me a bad person or a sinful person, I still go to church every Sunday, I still teach Sunday school, and I still believe in a lot of the ways of the Catholic Church. Just because you are pro-choice doesn't mean you are pro-abortion either or pro-death. Also, my parents are both democrats and Catholic and they are pro life. The church can't make you believe anything political, just help you with your beliefs along the way and push their doctrine. They can't make you change your opinion.

Most people in this world choose political decisions based on a LOT of issues... IF a majority of Hispanics are truly Democrats and are Catholic (I can't say this is true or not, I don't have the stats to prove that but I will assume you are right) then it is because most people vote for different reasons than just one. Personally, I put abortion way down the list... I am more interested in the economy, the use of our military, how much of our budget is used overseas, political and judicial appointees, the deficit, trade with other nations... oh, I won't bore you any longer but just let me say that I am still nowhere near abortion yet.

Not all Democrats are pro choice and not all Catholics are pro life. I would bet that most of the Democratic Hispanics are pro life though.

Because as minorities, we are told that the Democratic party fights for the underdogs because they are anti-business. Many have been tolf that Republicans are the white man's party. So, many feel that politics is more important than religion. The same can be argued for African Americans that are hardcore Baptist and Pentecostal church going folks and yet 92% of them voted Democrat in th e last election. As we continue on into this liberal fantasy spirituality becomes something that is personal and to be kept secret. But I as well have wondered that same question. Because I'm pro-life but as a minority I have been told that the Democrats are the ones that want me to be better. As I've grown older, I 've discovered that it's quite the opposite.

The Catholic church abhors abortion. Democrats love it. Why would any good Catholic want to be a Democrat if the Democratic party supports abortion?
I don't know. Maybe because Catholic parishoners don't give a dam about abortion, practice birth control, and otherwise ignore most of the canons of the church to begin with.
Also, the Democrats sponsor a lot of poverty-friendly legislation to help illegals, the downtrodden, etc for votes.
So I would guess if you are Catholic, downtrodden, and pro-life, you might as well go out and vote. Even if it means for the Republicans.

I don't think it's fair to generalize that all Democrats are pro choice. Politics isn't black and white. Someone can be Hispanic, Catholic, and democrat but that doesn't mean they will have to be pro-choice.

Your logic is flawed because you assume that Pro-Choice means Pro-Abortion. My family and I are and have always been against abortion. However, it is our view that we cannot and should not push our views on others by passing laws to make them do what we want. Instead we feel it is better to teach them why we think it is wrong.
Therefore, one can very easily be of any Christian faith and be Pro-Choice.
And by the way, not all Democrats are Pro-Choice and not all Republicans are Pro-Life.

Why is everyone so concerned about what the catholics think . The lord is trying to lift the veil to show the truth about the catholic church.Catholic Priest molesting our children. sick homosexual acts and destroyes that child forever. Do you know that the majority of sex offenders and murderers were abused by priest. The CATHOLIC CHURCH and the POPE condone homosexuality which goes against GOD. It is so simple when you are saved and a christian GOD enters you and you become one with him. Do you really believe that GOD would dwell in the timple of two men having sick unatural sex together in ways that were not meant to be.IT WAS NOT ADAM AND STEVE IN THE GARDEN AND IT WONT BE ADAM AND STEVE IN THE BOOK OF LIFE if thy dont repent and beg the LORDS forgivness. Think about it God destroyed SODOM AND GOHOMORA for the sins they were doing men laying laying with men, worshiping Idols just like worshiping of the pope. He is Nothing. he will stand before GOD and all his followers will be judge and unless he repentents and believes that JESUS died on the cross for our sins.his name is not in the book of life and never will be.The Devil Decieves many.

Because they will sell their morals for more entitlements. Don't forget all those "religious" Baptists. How can 50% of Catholics vote Democrat (i.e., pro abortion)? They have little conviction and even less understanding of facts regarding the issues.
They just don't get it. Why do they bother going to church?
