he went from nice to hateful from wanting sex two or three times a week to do i have to additiute he lies about his work hes just changed.

Well so far what you are describing is right on track with having an affair. You may want to start snooping around, show up at his work at different times....or better yet.....see if a friend or co-worker will let you borrow their car for a few hours, or rent one.....get a wig, and follow him when he leaves from work and see what he is up to....even at lunch. IF it appears that he is not having an affair with anyone from work.......then you may want to purchase some type of software that monitors every IM and email from your computer.....and will email it to you....now remember this.....you will need to have a very secret email account....yahoo....hotmail....etc. and use a very unique password....and always log out of that account...or he will find out what you are up to.....this software runs about 100.00.

He's suddenly paying more attention to his appearance. His sex drive either decreases, or increases(some men over compensate because they feel guilty, or they are feeling more confident sexually), working longer hours, going out without saying where he's going, he's getting hang-up calls, are some of the most telling.

listen to your heart, put on the columbo coat and investigate.
here's a few signs; snappy, change of wardrobe, where he goes is never your business, blames you for all problems in the marriage, and sex only on special occasions

Is he buying new underwear, hang ups when you answer the phone, change in hours home. Check charge cards for odd charges.

not coming home from work,hang ups,smelling like women's cologne,phone numbers in the wallet and not coming home all not is a give away

I would lean on yes he is or might be considering it. Ask him. If he seems really nervous or over reacts then you might want to question that.
