I would like to know who you can remain level headed and not be angry at the world with all the turmoil going on around you. Please forgive my ignorance, I am asking because I want to know from you, I know that what we see on television isn't the true story. I would appreciate it very much. Like Ghannouge said, we don't think of what is happening, we just go on with our lives and try to give our kids whatever they need to grow and be happy like any other child any where in the world...It's pretty hard to keep your cool sometimes, but I think we are doing an OK job...financially sometimes it's hard too so that brings on more head-trouble...lol
One thing I have to add, despite what happens and what people outside Lebanon hear, Lebanese are so good in crisis they help each other and look out for each other no matter what...I think that's what makes us stronger and more endurant too.

well i am not in lebanon now but ghanouja,kate , johnny boy an=d shrinking violet are right just live you life and dont hink about anything else..... you will be happy if you are thinking and acting happy..... as ive said to ppl before.."dont borrow sorrow from tomorro" dont let the things that are "going" to happen hold you back.

first, this turmoil has been going on forever. we can't put our life on hold until they solve the problem of the middle east.
2- we love life, if we forget about politics, we come from the best country in the world and we want to be happy.

HCP, just for my curiosity, since you've never even been to Lebanon (judging from your choice of language), how do you know that what we see on television isn't the true story? Even in Israel we get channels like LBC, I am sure if the 'enemy' can get the true story, then so can people in other countries.

I really dont think of WHAT IS HAPPENING, i think of my family and loved ones all of the Yahoo Lebanon Category answerers of what is happening with them in Lebanon.
But things are getting to the better, hopefully

I don't mind. The most important think is that there is no civil war and the love is surrounding us. We should not care what politicians do, it's their game now.
