Pulse drums is a subsidiary company of Pacific drums and Dw drums. There good drums with great hardware, but the difference is the wood they use for the Pulse drums is low end mahogany. Where most of the Dw kits use either Maple or Birch. Pulse drums are great for anybody that does not gig. So, if your not a professional and cant afford a thousand dollars or more for a kit, buy them there great.

Pulse is a good beginner set not as good as pearl but still good. What makes the great for beginning drummers is their affordable price. If you are thinking about buy a Pulse set go ahead it will last and as you get better you can get better heads and iit will grow with you.

Pulse is just a very affordable beginners set. I wouldn't recommend buying them. I had a 5-piece set when i was 13, and while it was good for learning on... I needed to upgrade immediately. I would make a bit more of an investment and get yourself a more durable set that can take you to a more serious level. Even Tama has affordable sets, and Pacific drums would even be an upgrade and not too much more in price.
