I have no idea why Walpurgisnacht would be satanic, unless you count it as the "birthday" of the satanic church.

Walpurgisnacht (night of the witches in german) was originally a night of fertility rituals. Large bonfires were lit and unmarried (and sometimes married) couples would go out into the fields and consecrate them with sexual unions.

During the witch hunts in Germany, it was told that you could see the spirits of the witches who had been burned on a particular mountain in East Germany on April 30th.

Walpurgis Night (or Walpurgisnacht in Germany) is a holiday celebrated on April 30 or May 1, in large parts of central and Northern Europe. It's only link to Satanism may be that the Church of Satan was established in San Francisco, California, on April 30, 1966 by Anton Szandor LaVey.

Originally it was a spring/fertility celebration of the vikings involving bonfires. Later used to celebrate Walpurgis, a convent nun of the same name. She was the niece of another saint. The celebration, of itself has no actual connection with satanism.
