For a ballpark figure you can get an online MBA for between $10,000 and $15,000. A typical MBA is approximately 30 graduate credits.

No, it's not Harvard, but online degrees have their value in the workforce and for advancement opportunities.

Make sure the university is REGIONALLY accredited, to ensure that your credits will be recognized at other schools and by HR departments.

If you are concerned about the name on the diploma, look around, more and more state universities are moving classes and entire programs online.

You might want to consider the longer term costs of getting an online MBA degree. If you look at the top 50 MBA schools, their starting salaries are all in the 70-150k/year range. If you get an online MBA, you will probably be no better off than you were before you got the degree. Online MBAs are not respected by any top companies. If you really want to be in business, take the time, study hard, and go to a real MBA school.

Your return on investment going to a top-50 "real" MBA school will be vastly higher than if you get an online MBA.

The tuition for an Online degree is less than from a prestigious private university, but more than a state university.

However, the true cost of an online MBA will be the lost future earnings due to the fact that most employers will not consider you for a position because they feel that they lack rigor.

Online degrees aren't worth much because most employers don't take online degrees seriously. I would go enroll in a real university instead.
