Signs of an affair are always the same......extended time away from home, renewed interest in exercize and weight loss, spicing up the wardrobe and dressing nicer/spiffier, etc.

Do the sniff test when you suspect him being alone with another woman....Sniff for perfumes, even sniff in penis.

Here are just a few signs that I noticed from my cheating boyfriend...

1. Takes things with him to work like change of clothes, deoderant, cologne, hair gel, etc.
2. Won't let you touch his cell phone and hides the bill.
3. Staying at work later than usual.
4. Uninterested in you, seems distracted, doesn't want sex as much anymore.
5. Takes a shower first thing when he gets home.
6. Has locked drawers or briefcase that he won't let you into.
7. Makes lame excuses when you question him about these things.

It's like most of the people on here have said... If you are having suspicions, it is probably because of his strange or changing behavior -- which, I hate to say, probably means he IS cheating. There is nothing like a woman's intuition.

I've been there, am actually still going through it because I "love" this person. If you find out you're right and need to talk, give me an e-mail. Hopefully everything will turn out all right for you. God bless.

The number one sign is that you are asking about signs that your husband is having an affair with someone at work.

I think a husband or wife may be less affectionate at home. You notice that they have already showered or shower soon after getting home! Unfamiliar perfume is a dead give away. They are not where they say they are going to be. They go away for long periods of time and have strange stories to tell when they return...car broke down, ran out of gas, met up with an old friend...turn their cell phone off for long periods, won't let you see crdeit card statements...people at the office avoid your eyes, avoid talking to you..he doesn't take you to office parties...he acts distant.

is he less attentive? seems as if he is no longer interested in things he once was, is he disrespectful of u, means he no longer cares, as he already has someone else to go to so he doesn't have to even try to be nice to u anymore. does he complain about his life, saying he is depressed and unhappy? do u feel as if he has cut u out of his life. fault finding, fight picking, so he will feel justified when he leaves, so he can say it is because of the fighting. does he primp, take more showers, want no sex, does he sleep more than usual, has he suddenly developed new sexual moves, that he never had before. does the man u use to know and be so close to suddenly appear distant, does he sit and stare into space, means he is planning to leave, and doesn't know how he is going to do it, so he has to plot and plan. does he have to work extra, does he make up things, u really don't believe because they are outrageous. does he hide things? does his family treat u differently, especially his mother.

If you suspect an affair he is probably having one. Women have a sixth sense about such things. If you check his cell phone bill and there are lots of calls to a woman at work and/or emails then he is cheating.

Five months ago you asked a question on here about your husband receiving work related calls on his personal cell phone. At that time you mentioned one "lady" who called and you got mad?????

Was this your first clue? If you have to ask thousands of total strangers on the Internet, you already know that he is cheating and you know what you have to do next.

Good luck.

well, if he calls making excuses like he has to work late. Or if he comes home late with no excuse, or if he says work has to send him "out of town" for a few days, or if he smells like perfume, or has makeup on his clothes, or you find an unknown number in his phone or wallet, or if he acts disinterested in sex with you anymore, there's a hundred ways to tell.
