Here's the deal.. I just switched majors to finance, and I'm not incredibly behind because I was previously an economics major, however, I do need to make up a few classes.. I will end up needing an extra semester to graduate.. I really don't want to sacrifice my summer taking classes when I can get intern experience, but is it worth it if it will help me graduate in four years?

You probably can't take a whole semester's worth of classes over the summer anyway, so why not just take the extra semester? The internship will help you get a job when you do graduate. If you want to, you could probably take a class or two along with the internship (depending, of course, on where you go to school and if you can get an internship in that area).

I know the school I go to offers two types of summer classes. There are some that are only 6 weeks long, and others who are a full 12 weeks. Check with your school, maybe next couple semesters you can take a few extra credit hours to make up that time so that you can take up that internship. I would personally take summer classes because they're usually easier on you and less stressful, but if you want the internship, take more classes.

Is there no way you can both take classes and do an Internship? That is what I will be doing this summer...
