Kinda. I rescued one from my dogs one time. They were playing catch with it. It was fairly little and they injured its shell, because it wasn't completely hard yet. I brought it in the house.

I let it swim in the bathtub and took it out in the evenings and let it dig up worms.

Inside it played with my kittens. It was the cutest little thing. It had one problem, it really stunk bad. I didn't realize that they stink so bad even when playing in the water everyday.

After I nursed it back to health, I let it go back to the wild. I took it back down near the pond where it would find food and water and I hoped my dogs wouldn't find it again.

no, but its sounds cool. Please dont use it as a football. Thats just cruel.

no but i got clawed by one, it jumped four feet in the air whemn i startled it, it cut open the side of my neck, not a good pet
