I just bought my prom dress and it's 100% silk.

But i always get statics that makes the a-line dress stick to my legs.

Please help me, and offer some advice on how to get rid of it?

oh and i can't wash the dress, so fabric softners wouldn't work. I 've heard of the anti-static spray, does it actually work? if so, then where can i get one?

first...be sure you wear a slip with the dress. that will make it so the dress does not stick to you. Second take some of those dryer sheet (same thing as liquid softener but in a fabric sheet for the dryer) and rub it on the slip or your panty hose. That should do the trick.

They also make an anti static spray, but I would be very wary about using it with silk as it could put spots on your dress.

Can you try rubbing a dryier sheet on the inside of the dress? Test a spot first. Also wear a slip and hopefully that will cut down on the static.
