We will not lay off the poser thing because if you honestly have to ask random people for opinions to write on your shoes because you are SO scene/emo/punk/whatever the hell you think you are but can't think of your own weirdo depressing statements to parade around on your ugly shoes, then you are pretty much stamping POSER to your damn forehead.

Don't write anything. If you want to have your shoes for another year, and not be embarassed to wear them...then leave them in good condition! You will come out of that phase soon enough, and then you'll look at them and wonder..."what was I thinking!" Trust me...I've been there.

i have almost every color and kind of converse, i did write on a pair it juist messed them up so i had to go buy a new pair, so i would say nothing they r awesome the way tha r!
