I prefer dogs as they are much more dependent on human feelings, and are more forgiving of our mistakes than cats, but lol I have a cat, as I live in a small apartment, and would be unfair to dog. He is company when he wants to be, cats are very independant

I am a dog lover because I am allergic to cats, but also I find cats to me more self centered. Don't get my wrong cats are loving animals. I would rather interact with my pet my physically and cats just don't play catch.

I'm a dog lover all the way. I like cats as long as they are not mine, had one when my son was little. and my son wouldn't even bother the cat. and he be watching tv. and this cat would go over him and bite his head. so I got rid of her. and had dogs ever since.

Dogs. Dogs because they are like real people. They play, and they are always energetic. They are fun to be with. Cats not really the people kind of animal. They dont play with you. They scratch you though. Its like they just lay there........... and just lay there. Besides, cats diarreah alot. and their poop reeks! and dogs really are mans best friend. (or womans)

Dogs! My neighbor has a cat and it always runs away and hides from me, but my dog will curl up with me on my couch. They also play with you outside and can do chores if you teach them.

I always loved dogs, but, I'm an animal lover & have had all kinds, a lot of them rescues.

i have had dogs and cats and prefer the doggies, i guess cats are too independent for me..

it depends whether you like one or not...if you like them both think about getting a kitten or a puppy...maybe even both..they will grow to like each other and become friends..and you will love them and have no problems.
