Bush fired them all too at the beginning of his first term.

However, the stink is that these 8 were fired because they weren't toeing the political line. I think you know that, you just refuse to understand that politics and justice are not supposed to mix.

Those guys and girls have cases to prosecute. Political numbnuts shouldn't be in their face about who to prosecute and who not to.

You got it yet?

Here we go again. You obviously have not been reading posts on YA or paying attention to the news other than the clap trap on Faux news or conservative hate radio.

Now here it is PAY ATTENTION!

Clinton fired 29 DA's as is TRADITION by presidents AT THE BEGINNING OF THEIR ADMINISTRATION. Bush waited until he was half way through his 2nd term to do it.

Clinton did not fire them for political reasons. BUSH FIRED THEM BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T FIND SOMETHING ON DEMOCRATS OR WERE INVESTIGATING BUSH ADMIN. WRONG DOING.

Clinton informed the senate and BUSH TRIED TO SNEAK AROUND AND NOT TELL THE SENATE BECAUSE THE FIRINGS WERE POLITICAL MOTIVATED.

Congress likes the Constitution to be followed and be included as an equal partner with the executive and judicial branches. When the executive violates that part of the Constitution they want to know why.

Had Bush informed the Senate that the attorneys were being fired because they were not doing as the President wanted them to I don't think we would see any investigations. Sneaking around, however makes people suspicious. It looks like, from tesimony that their suspicions were correct.

Gonzalez lied as would be expected from a Bushie. He said he was not part of the process yet there is testimony that says he was. What else is Gonzo lying about?

Now, is that clear to you ?

As seen above, Dems seem to think that poltics and justice shouldn't mix; however, these are political appointees, so that argument is completely illogical. It's even more illogical to say that the DOJ is not political when all 93 of them are replaced with every president. It's a made up scandal completely driven by the media. Too bad W just won't play along and sexually harrass interns, so that we could have a real scandal.

Dems specialize in politics, not serving the best interests of this country. They are a propoganda machine that relies upon the least informed and most misguided among us for their support. How sad is that?

They buy the votes of minorities and pump the propoganda machine to nab the rich libs who feel guilty about having too much money.

It's the President's right. They work for him, and he doesn't need a reason to fire them. So, the Republicans accepted it.

However, the socialist, liberal Democrats think they have the exclusive right to run the government. So, from the time Bush (R-Texas) got into the office, they have bitched and complained about everything he has done. He's a Republican, and has no right to get elected. And the voters had no right to vote for him.

The Dem.s didn't fire them at the beginning of the term the Presidents can bring in new lawyers and replace the out going ones.

The difference is that they were fired mid-term, which is unprecedented, but perfectly legal. The catalyst is that they, (everyone involved), have been acting like there is some huge conspiracy worthy of impeachment or high level firings. I don't know why the administration has been acting like there is some secret to keep, but that has been the main reason for scepticism.

It's just what they do. As long as they can keep attacking they don't have to offer any solutions to the real issues facing this country.
