You're well on your way to having that baby! It could be a few days or it could be a few hours. If the pain isn't unbearable yet, you're just in the beginning stages of labor. After my mucus plug broke, I had back pain for 4 days and then my water broke and it was within 40 minutes, my daughter was born.
You can always call the hospital. I called the nurse about 6 times that weekend before I actually went in. Good luck :)

The time is near!! I had my daughter 3 days later if you feel sharp pains time them I believe if they are 3 minutes apart you should go to hospital. Take a warm bath now this will make you feel fresh and clean but if you are in labor it will bring on the contractions the water helps relax those muscles. I got in the whirlpool tub at the hospital and thought oh that will be relaxing I was out in 5 minutes. Good Luck!! Also when my water broke it was like I just peed myself a little, if that happens you need to go to the hospital and they will finish the job due to infection.

It means delivery day is VERY near, could be 24 hours or a couple of days. Sounds like you might be having some early back labor or pre-labor. Be sure to take a heating pad with you for delivery day!

It means you're going to have a baby very soon. Labor pain is sometimes felt as back pain.

You should realize that the back pain may be labor and go get checked by your midwife or doctor.

Sounds like you are in early labor, but remember this phase can last for hours and hours before you have noticeable contractions, so do try to rest.
