I hope so - we need an AG that knows the difference between a lie and the truth. Gonzales doesn't know either very well and neither does Bush! How sick!

Bush will not easily let go of Gonzales. Not after Rumsfeld left in a hurry. It would not bode well for the administration to let yet another top official resign.

If he isn't run out of town with the rest of those autocratic oligarchists on a rail, maybe.

Those 8 judges were removed because they didn't prosecute enough Democrats, and they weren't lenient enough with Republicans. This administration has been famous for tossing out anyone who isn't a "yes-man" for GOP policy.

Coincidence died long, long ago.

He works at the Department of Justice, not the White House. He's also legally able to fire his employees and/or Presidential appointees at will. He's an idiot if he just leaves.
