Okay, here is the situation. Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex a couple of times between March 15th to March 18th. My period was due on March 23rd. I was late and just started on March 30th. I took a blood test that came back negative for HCG (Pregnancy Hormone). But I'm thinking it was too early to tell. My question is, could I still be pregnant even though I had my period? I have been having abdominal pain since last week, but I have no idea if that has anything to do with it. So, could I be pregnant or not? Please help!

Yes, it's possible to be pregnant and still have a period. Also, it's not uncommon to have some bleeding at just around the time your period would be due because the egg is implanting in the uterine wall.
If you're having abdominal pain, you really should get to your doctor and if it gets worse, the hospital.
Ectopic pregnancies can rupture your tube and cause internal bleeding that is VERY serious and even life threatening.

Yes, you can have your last period and be pregnant. There is this 4-6 week period that's weird and since you are most fertile the days before your period, it's normal to have that last one. And I had abdominal pains a lot the first two months I was pregnant.

Go to the doctor and have them run a blood test. Yes you can be pregnant and still have a period - I did. You probably are not based on your dates but check just in case.

Are you having a true period or is this bleeding episode more like spotting?

Your pain might be due to pre-menstrual cramps. And since it is only the 2nd day of your period today that would explain why you're still having them.

Yes, it is still possible to get your period when you are pregnant....however, pregnancy tests usually don't lie. Try taking another one and if you're still not sure go to the doctor.

No, once you had your period there's no chance that you can be pregnant. See during period your body disposes unwanted / unused tissue that's necessary to carry the fetus which eventually will develop as a baby. You can try testing again in a month or more, just to be completly sure
