I'm a baby boomer. I've been using it for over 30 yrs. I love it but not vanilla. I love musk, patchouli, cinnamon & sandalwood best. But if I'm having guest I stick to mulberry & similar scents. Don't want people to think I'm an old hippie. lol! I agree with you on vanilla though. It stinks! If I want the vanilla smell I just drop a few drops of vanilla into about a cup of water & simmer on the stove. That way it doesn't have that cheap cigar smell.

Yes. My brother sent me some up from Florida called Sweet Rain & it smells sooo nice. Then I went to the store here in my town, bought a different brand, same scent, Sweet Rain and it was nasty!! Made me sick to my stomach. Now my brother sends me some on a regular basis!!!

I use scented candles.
I am allergic to grass, and flowers.
So the air incense things really get my allergies running, and I get headaches. If it is WAY too strong. But candles are nice.
So technically, yes, I have used incense.

No. I like to use Febreeze most of the time, but during the winter I like to use candles that smell like Christmas.

I have before but haven't in quite some time. Now, I can't stand the smell and I always think of pot smokers when I smell it *lol* I use scented oils now, in an oil burner. The scents are much better and last longer.
