I get a pop-up that says something like, if I don't get rid of Window's wireless network communications manager(?), I won't have full control of my Netgear wireless system. What should I do?

Well I like the windows connection manager but I have to admit it has its shortfalls. If you WANT to use the Netgear communications manager to connect to your wireless system, you should use it. If you don't then stick to windows.
If you only use your own wireless system I would use the Netgear interface. (In fact I would probably use it anyway.)

If you want to get back to the windows interface for some reason, just uninsal the Netgear software.

Neither of these affect your firewall, your virus system, nor any other items just the WIRELESS CONNECTIONS!

netgear is a piece of work. the windows firewall is great.it updates itself and its free. netgear isnt user friendly/so let microsoft stay in tact. if u choose otherwise it will be hard to get back
