Yes, just like I can act like I'm interested in a conversation that's obviously going nowhere, or act as if my male friends love their wives when I know that they are cheating on them so much. Is it evil not to let them know, since I don't really care for any of them?

Yes, that is why they call it acting........I am not sure if you mean in life or in theater.....but either way, it IS acting if it isn't you........in life and in theater don't get type casted...if you do, you are done.
