battlefield 2142 every time i try and play the game it crushes within 60 sec of game play if im lucky and returns back to windows without an reason or error report. its pissing me off

try updating the latest patch from electronic arts.

that usually solves problems

had the same problem....you might be missing something in the requirements, it could be the sound setting too, just turn everything off in the section for now
