If you were in NYC for only 3 days, what is the one thing that you definately would not miss? My mom and I are going for the first time next month, and want to make sure we see as much as we can. =)

Would love to see the play Grease, but it doesn't start until the weekend after our trip. =( I think that we are going to try and see Mama Mia while we are there if we can get tickets at the Cheap Tix booth the night of the play.

My mom has already seen "Wicked" in Dallas, and I have no real care to see that one, so we both agreed on Mama Mia. =)

I would not miss going to the Village----- but then there are so many other places I wouldn't want to miss either---
like the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the South Street Seaport and Market and the department stores on 5th Av & midtown Manhattan. The theater district and A trip thru Central Park are also cool.

A Broadway play. Maybe Grease with the stars just selected. It is about $75 for the cheap seats.

Oh man... so many things to do... When I first went, I went to Greenwich Village, Yankee Stadium, CBGB's (which is sadly closed now), Times Square (not so exciting anymore since the "clean up"), 53rd&3rd, Rockaway Beach, Coney Island for a hot dog...

I think the Statue of Liberty and Eilis Island would be two must sees and maybe ground zero to pay your respects.
