I recently got a macbook 2006 and I don't have the WEP password to connect the macbook to my home wireless. Is there a way to connect without having to reset my router or hook it up?
Please explain in good details how to find/get/retrieve the WEP password.
thanks.

You must login to the router and either
- retrieve the WEP password from the password administration page
- set a new WEP password from the password administration page

You would get good details if you stated what router you have. They don't all work the same.

If you have physical access to your router you should be able to log into it and reset the WEP key.
