It depends on what type of wireless router you are using actually. 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g or 802.11n.

At the moment 802.11n will give you the fastest network connection speeds, up to 200MB/s, and better signal streangth farther away then the others. But again it depends on the type of router you are going to connect to. The speed of your nrtwork is determined by its slowest point.

whatever you get, your connection is speed is governed by a number of things, type of line you have, how far from the exchange, contention ratio etc.
dont waste cash on a supposed 'super duper speed machine'...it will only work as fast as your connection will allow it.
