Can anyone find the concentration camps that were run by the Gestapo and what country they were in?

I believe the concentration camps were run by the SS.The gestapo was the Nazi secret service.To find all information you want about the how and where please check the link.

The Gestapo were in charge of all of the concentration camps.
The camps were in Poland, the Netherlands, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Austria, Greece, Germany; in short, where ever their army went.
They rounded up the Jewish, gypsies, mentally ill, the infirm, the crippled & anyone who voiced anything against the Nazi party or what was happening.

I know several were in Poland, there were only a couple in Germany and they were in outer Germany.
It wouldnt be too savory for common citizens to know or see these things so they kept them isolated.
As justgood said It wasnt the Gestapo that ran those camps. Although Heinrich Himmler was overall in incharge of the Gestapo as well as the SS this was more of an SS operation.

The gestapo did not run concentration camps. Those camps were run for the most part by the SS.

They were in Nazi Germany. Auschwitz, Dachau, Bergen-Belsen and countless others.
One current concentration camp is in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The current Gestapo is George Bush. He has others over the world and the locations are secret.

It was the ss that ran the camps the gestapo were the secret police of the third reich. they hunted down the jews catholics and anyone else conisidered an enemy of the state they also interrogated pow's.Their methods included truth serums pulling fingernails burns breaking bones beatings. makes putting underwear on someon's head seem mild dosen't it

Type in Holocaust and it will give you several links to different camps and detailed maps. I believe though, the gestapo ran alot of them.

Germany literally had dozens of major camps and hundreds of sub camps spread throughout much of Europe and into the Soviet Union. They brought death and destruction to hundreds of thousands perhaps millions.
