i need some help with my pre cal hw. please help me out
the choices are:
1) sin x
2) cos x
3) tan x
4) sec x
5) csc x

It's equal to cos x. Remember sec x = h/a and cos x = a/h,
so they are reciprocals. (h = hypotenuse, a = adjacent
side of right triangle)

The secant of an angle is (for a right triangle that has that angle) the hypotenuse over the adjacent side, so the reciprocal of this would be the adjacent side over the hypotenuse. If you don't know which one that is, learn the definitions of the six trigonometry functions.

1/sec = cos
1/csc = sin
1/ cot = tan
