If you aren't used to wearing heels regularly, this will cause cramping for some women - I have noticed that it does for me. Try wearing shorter heels, and also make sure you take a daily mineral supplement (potassium and magnesium deficienies can cause cramping). Dehydration can also cause leg cramps - stay very well hydrated.

Could be the high heels, or a lack of potassium. Try drinking more milk or eating a banana a day. When the cramps hit at night, try pointing your toes straight down, extend your foot as far as you can. It lets up faster. A heating pad or hot watter bottle at bedtime may help, and some padded shoe inserts for more cusion.

Most likely, the shoes are the culprit. Stop wearing these shoes for about a week. Give your legs time to heal and see if it still happens. If you still have the cramps, have your doc check your electrolytes. Low levels could cause cramps. This doesn't sound too much like restless leg syndrome to me.

It is probably the high heals duh!

Also you might need more calicium, potassium, sodium. Drink a sports drink.

Get out of those heals.

Do some leg and ankle stretches.

Its called a Charlie-Horse
They hurt REALLY bad. It could easily be from wearing high heels, stand with your toes on a step or stair and let the rest of your heel hang off - then lower yourself a little - this will help stretch your calf muscels.

It could be and that is using a good part of your calf.
Eat some bananas - you need to up your potassium or have a nice foot/calf massage after work.

The heels are likely contributing; try ditching them. Also, increase your potassium intake. I eat a banana every day.

I've always been told that it is either a potassium or calcium deficiency.
