I was riding in the car with someone and it was really cold out and the heater hadn't warmed up yet. We were listening to a mix tape, and a song came on, and he reached to fast forward to the next song, but I said, "No, stop! Don't switch it! This song has a really warm bassline!" He looked at me like he thought I was crazy... Do you understand what I mean? Some people do, some don't.

I totally understand. I am just learning bass guitar, and I always notice a distinctive bass line. Flea and Les Claypool are awesome!
