I'm with both of these guys. Once It's apart do not "chinse out" replace everything that's the least bit shaky. Let a good mechanical trans technician advise you on everything that needs replacing. No cheap rebuilt clutch parts either. the clutch disc must freely slide on the input spline of the trans. Replace the pilot and throwout bearing. The syncro. rings must be fit individually for smooth engagement of all gears. Cross reference trans oil with correct synthetic type.

Sounds like release bearing may be binding, thus not pushing or releasing the pressure plate like it should. To shift in any gear but first you dont need the clutch, so it sounds like the gear oil warms up and makes shifting easier...with what little the clutch is actually doing. Looks like its time for a clutch/pressure plate/release bearing. Silly to go far enough into it and not replace all......

Your fourth "symptom" is a dead give away...since you drive hard and don't respect your car, it doesn't respect you either...it's probably the clutch, and it will cost you enough to think twice about abusing it.

Of course, you may have damaged the transmission ALSO, in which case it will triple the cost.

you're coping with some very questionable mechanics . what you like is a seize slave cylinder. undesirable slave cylinders will artwork intermitendly or fail completely. a slave cylinder is a lot greater low-priced than a transmision. a pair of thousand ot greater funds. yet fimd yet another storage to do the artwork.
