I was afraid I was the only person wondering that very thing. Also judging by some of the answers. I don't understand why people feel the need to be so hateful to others who have differing views politically and especially religiously. I am a white Christian woman. One of my best friends has become an atheist. I have several black friends whom I love dearly. My daughter is married to a wonderful Hispanic man, and I have a bi-racial grandson and one due next month. My son-in-law and daughter bring one of their gay friends to our holiday meals. We all love and respect each other. I would literally lay down my life for my bi-racial grandson. So this on Yahoo just makes me scratch my head.
I used to go over to the Religion section, but it's just too nasty and rude for me. It's a sad state of affairs. I have to laugh when someone says something about "world peace." We don't often see people who manage to have peace in their own families. And that's what I have to say about that. Thanks for a good question.

That's the problem. Parents are NOT teaching their children enough, because their both too busy working, Or they're divorced. Families AT LEAST should have dinner together. And teachers don't have the time to teach them manners as well as grammar and spelling. Sometimes it's unbeleivable!! Maybe a new preident can help. I just don't know anymore.

It's easy for some people to come on here and post questions and/or answers just to provoke others. You cannot know for sure if that person is truly voicing their own opinion or just talking for effect. Many parents are not teaching their children anything. They are growing up without guidance, instruction, or structure, and some without their basic needs being met just to live.

What say me?
i say you are right.
I notice that section has a group that is ignorant and intolerant.
People who want attention, or close minded schmucks.
The funny thing is the people who claim to be the most liberal seem to be the most offensive and defensive. (I wont say who but it rhymes with craptivist)
Did you also notice that they don't see themselves that way.
Its a public forum and since you have the right to ask, everyone has the right to answer. Agree to disagree once you say your peace.
Teach your kids everyone has an opinion, and rite or wrong they are entitled to it.

Ill tell you this much, they arent punishing kids good enough. Telling them to go to time out and think about what they did doesnt work. Spank the sh!t out of them and see if they do it again. Anyways, most people are ignorant of other cultures so they just teach their kids to be racist and stereotypical.
