That would depend as to the latitude at which you intend to walk "around the world. If you are less than a degree from either pole it would be quite an easy task. If you wished to walk around the world without interruption at the equator it would be quite impossible.

Crossing oceans doesn't count, of course.
I don't know about walking, but Rick Hansen wheeled around the world. He's a paraplegic, and he did it to raise awareness of spinal cord injuries.
