Well, of course you didn't deserve the court fine. And of course your family members have no one else to turn to. No one at all. Nope. Only you, and the money you should be using to pay your court fine. That you, of course, didn't deserve.

See that? That's EXACTLY what the Judge is going to say to you.

You might go to jail, but it's more likely they will attach your wages or seize a bank account or stick a lien on your house. So you are going to pay the court fine anyway.

ha. ha. ha.

Pay your court fines first...nothing will help a family more then showing responsibility. And your first responsibility to your family should be to be there for them....being there doesn't cost a thing.

It depends on the fine. If it is for
1 unpaid parking
2 unpaid taxes
3 TV licences
4 unpaid congestion charges
5 shoplifting
6 Road tax
7 non violent activity (unspecified)
8 Fraud
8 drugs
10 War crimes
11 Crimes against humanity

then don't pay. After all the Government is jam packed with these types

Save your own bacon first if it's a fine that can imprison you that'd be ridiculous to help someone else out.

If the fine is something stupid like a traffic ticket, screw it! Pay the family member and get your hair done and a new CD next week.

Were the family there for you when you got your court fine? That will determine if you did the right thing.

family. It's better to be a martyr die knowing your family loves you than paying for absolutely nothing (if you say that you really didn't deserve them). And if I were you, I'd make my stand, ask advice from family and friends, and speak my mind out (although the only ting really I did when my teachers piss me off losing the projects I submitted is ask my parents advice, but that's agaisnt the court, SPEAK YOUR MIND OUT!!!!)

I'm sorry to say it, but I think you made the wrong choice.

You could better help your family by not being in jail and working; as well as not tarnishing your record.

I'm sure your family would have understood if you had paid the fines instead...

You should have paid the fines, and stayed out of jail. Then you can help them, out of their difficulty.
