I need to make about 90 handmade souvenirs that represent something that has to do with U.K. Any ideas of what I can do regarding materials to use and what to do? Please remeber that I need to make 90 of them so the cheaper the better.

You could get some polymer clay like fimo or sculpey and make square beads. Then paint the union jack onto the beads and string a bead onto rawhide or yarn for a charm that kids would use as a zipper pull or backpack charm. .

My son taught English in Korea for four and a half years. He asked me to send him Canadian souvenirs for his students. Everything I found....from pencils to miniature flags...was made in China!! I made a small graph of our flag, stitched it on 10 count plastic canvas using embroidery floss, attached a magnet to the back and...voila! Canadian souvenirs....and very inexpensive. Perhaps you could try something along those lines? They work up very quickly. You could add a pin back instead of a magnet.

Beaded safety pins are quick and easy to do as well as inexpensive. Just use beads in the right colors. Or you could try painted cork coasters.
