The aerosol is not burning, it's the flamable liquid inside that is burning. It just burns a lot quicker, because of the force inside the can.
This is why i'm hot.

Which aerosols? Most flammable aerosols deliver flammable materials to begin with. That's why they're compatible with propanes and butanes as propellants:

However, other aerosols use carbon dioxide.

The cans are not pressurized with CFC any more but Butane which is an explosive gas.
