Yes I am a deep thinker...I have been told by others that I think to much...now how can a person think to much?
If we did not give thought before our actions or words, would we not be considered ignorant? And if we never gave anything deep thought, how would we be able to question ourselves or others, or right from wrong?
Deep thinkers have also been called morbid...depressed etc. by others...I feel that is a untruth, deep thinkers ask why? A very important question...may not always get the answer but care enough to ask!

I guess you could consider me to be a deep thinker if that is exactly what you are asking. If you are asking if I think deep the answer is I do try, but then you could also be asking me on a deeper level and this question would sound like "what do you think when you are thinking?" Can somebody really answer this question? I mean really what do we think? We tend to think about everything that is not only involving us but those that we know and others. Take a bottle of water for example. When I pick it up to drink it what am I thinking? Am I thinking "My mouth is dry?" or could it be that "Am I thirsty?" or maybe I am thinking that "I need water to survive, so I better drink some?" or ultimately I could just be thinking "in order to quench my thirst I should take a drink" or heres another thought "maybe I am just dehydrated?". This brings us back to the frst question. Do you think that deep with every thought you have? I do. I am also happy doing it. Once you look at all angles you can accually have a legitamate reason for doing what you do ;)

I believe that I am a deep thinker. But I don't know if it's fair for one to make that determination about him or herself because I suspect that most people consider themselves to be deep thinkers. I think it has more to do with the people you surround yourself with and the people in your environment. If the people around you are more shallow thinkers than you... then you will probably consider yourself to be a deep thinker and so will those around you. Keep in mind, most other countries consider Americans to be shallow thinkers and not very smart in general. So who's to say really. It's mostly relative and subjective I suppose. Okay... I'm done. Interesting question.

I am a deep thinker. I have trouble expressing myself so I don't think it shows in what I say.

Let's analyze your reason for asking this question. Are you fearful that you do not think deep enough? Could it be that you abhor the shallowness of others? I'm sure your issues are quite Freudian and have something to do with your mother.
LOL.

I would say I think as deep as I feel, especially spiritual thoughts of heaven, reincarnation, spiritual world, and how it's all connected. And I like the way God expresses the way he feels.
